Travel on the web, I find a interesting history about Ryu (The street fighter character`s). He was inspired in a real fighter of karate: Yoshiji Soeno. He was founder of shidokan style. He travel to thailand and USA to practice, learn styles and fight like Ryu did in the history game. Another fonts say Ryu is based in Mas Oyama, founded of Kyokushin style. anyway, Yoshiji Soeno trained with Mas Oyama, and the history of Mr Oyama is like history Mr Soeno (travel trough the world, learns styles and fight)
